This course is designed to introduce you to business finance for you to contribute to your business’ success and know-how to assess the accounts of a business in terms of profitability, solvency, liquidity, and risk. At the end of each module, you will have a short practical exercise drawing from your learning. For example, you will be expected to design a cost-benefit analysis or produce a cash flow statement for your department.
Powerpoint presentations, case studies/analyses, and take-home assignments will be the major mode of facilitation.

- Using key financial ratios to analyze profitability, liquidity, and solvency of the business
