IHSU Rotaract Charter Night

On Tuesday 25th April 2017, the Rotaract club of International Health Sciences University celebrated its charter night. The club which was celebrating six years of serving the IHSU community also installed its new club President Asobola N Prudence. The event was well attended attracting over 50 Rotaract clubs and 5 Rotary clubs from all over Uganda.

The outgoing club president Ms Racheal Love Nadiope outlined the achievements of the club in the past year and thanked all partners that supported her during her reign. Ms Racheal also thanked the club members for their continued devotion towards the club activities and congratulated them upon receiving the most outstanding institution based club award. Outgoing members of her cabinet were also awarded certificates in appreciation of their contributions to the club.
The guest speaker Rotarian Patrobas Wafula Sirabo from Rotary club of Kampala Muyenga breeze thanked the IHSU club members for always supporting his outreach medical camps. He challenged the new inductees to be active members of the club and encouraged old members to uphold the four-way test.
The new club President Asobola N Prudence pledged to partner with rotary and Rotaract clubs in serving humanity and also promised to work with the university in uplifting its mission and vision. She thanked the outgoing president for her relentless efforts towards the club and pledged to carry on the spirit of service above self.
She thanked the administration of IHSU, Rotarians, rotaractors and guests who came to celebrate with us and making this day a success.
