About NCLEX

Clarke International University will offer a short course to support those intending to work in the US, Australia and Canada in preparing for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX). The NCLEX is a standardised examination used to determine whether a candidate possesses the minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required for safe and effective entry-level nursing practice. The NCLEX focuses not only on knowledge recall but also on clinical judgment, decision-making, and the application of nursing principles in real-life scenarios. Following the passing of the NCLEX, a U.S. practising licensee is awarded

Preparing for the NCLEX requires more than theoretical knowledge; it demands the ability to apply concepts in complex, high-pressure testing environments. This course bridges these gaps by:

• Providing a structured and systematic review of all tested content areas

• Enhancing critical thinking and clinical judgment skills

• Familiarizing learners with NCLEX question formats, including NGN

• Offering continuous assessment and performance feedback

• Building confidence and reducing exam anxiety

Ultimately, undertaking this course increases the likelihood of passing the NCLEX on the first attempt and supports the transition from student to competent professional nurse.
