Games: CIU Team VS. Amputees

On 15th March 2019, we successfully had an inclusive football match between CIU Club and Amputees at Bukasa playground. This match was organized by CIU in conjunction with Federation of Uganda Amputees Football Association (FUAFA).

It is a new body that promotes rehabilitation of the amputees through the game of football. Amputee football is a disabled sport involving seven players on each team. Outfield players have lower extremity amputations and the goalkeepers have upper extremity amputations.

The Vice The vice Chancellor Dr.Rose Clarke Nanyonga with the Amputee team just before the beginning of the game.
